Popsicle Stick Puzzles Toy Craft

Make your own Popsicle stick puzzles at home from old greeting cards, a favorite picture or photo, or simply draw your own design with crayons for hours of fun.

Materials:

  • craft sticks(Popsicle sticks)
  • old greeting card, postcard, photo, or picture
  • masking tape
  • white glue, brush
  • sharp knife

Directions:

  1. Lay down several craft sticks in a row. Make sure the tops line up and the sides all touch.
  2. Secure with a strip of masking tape at the top and bottom to keep them together.
  3. Turn over your sticks and on the opposite side, cover generously with glue.
  4. Lay down your picture, card, or photo and smooth out. Allow to dry.
  5. If desired, write numbers in sequence on the craft sticks from one end to the other to make it easier to finish the puzzle.
  6. Carefully cut apart the craft sticks and remove the tape.
  7. Mix up the sticks and put the puzzle together.

Variations:

You don't have to use a picture and glue, just simply draw a colorful picture with crayons.
Also, after you've made one puzzle, repeat the process again on the blank side to make a 2 in 1 puzzle.
